KÔRA Institute of Technology

Why we're called KÔRA.

Not a rebrand. A name that finally caught up to the work.

Somewhere between the idea and the thing.

There's an old philosophical idea — Khôra — for the space between a pure idea and the physical world. The gap where something abstract has to pass through before it becomes real.

That's what a good institute actually is. Not a place that hands you information. A place that sits between what you don't yet know how to do and what you'll be able to build by the time you leave. The impossible, processed into the possible.

Core, plus that space — KÔRA.

Knowledge shouldn't be a luxury or a giveaway.

Education used to be one of the things that just happened — a public good, like clean water. Somewhere along the way it split into two broken versions: locked behind a price only some people can pay, or given away free in a way that convinces no one it's worth finishing.

We think both are wrong. So KÔRA runs on one rule instead.

We do not offer free education — because free has no weight. We charge enough that you value it, and little enough that no one is excluded.

— The KÔRA promise

The last six years.

2018

Compyuva begins.

Founded under Tilak Infotech, with one goal: make computer literacy accessible on the streets of Bengaluru — not in a distant tech park, in the neighborhood.

2018–2024

Six years of offline classrooms.

No online course library, no generic syllabus. Real classrooms, real students, a curriculum rebuilt again and again based on what actually worked — hundreds of people who walked in not knowing where the power button was and walked out capable.

2026

KÔRA Institute of Technology.

One brand. A wider ambition — from computer literacy toward deep tech: AI, robotics, quantum computing, biotechnology. The same Bengaluru campus. The same reason we started.

Backed by people who build things, not just brand things.

KÔRA Institute of Technology is proudly marketed and managed by Tilak Infotech and Harva Groups.
